Alison Wonderland (born Alexandra Margo Sholler) is a DJ and electronic dance music producer as well as a producer in Australia. Allison Cara Tolman has been acting for more than 20 years. The actress was nominated for Emmys and Golden Globes for her performance as Molly Solverson on the FX the series, Fargo's initial season. Tolman was raised in the city of New York. She has two older and one younger siblings. At just few months old, her family relocated to England and stayed there for 4 years. Before moving to Sugar Land in Texas, she lived for five years in Oklahoma as well as West Texas. In the Fort Bend Community Theatre, she began taking acting lessons at age 10. Clements High School was her high school, and she was able to graduate in 2000. Baylor University gave her a degree in The Bachelor of Fine Arts, Theatre Performance. Following her college graduation, she moved to Dallas in the United States, where she was one of the founding participants of Second Thought Theatre. In 2009, she moved into Chicago, Illinois, to learn about acting at The Second City Training Center. Tolman gained fame in 2014 as Tolman appeared on the FX show Fargo. Based on The 1996 Coen brothers' film with the same name, Fargo starred veteran actors Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman as well as Bob Odenkirk. Tolman received praise for her portrayal of Minnesota Police Officer Molly Solverson, with Vanity Fair writing the following "calmly and undoubtedly took over the whole film". Tolman received a Critics' Choice Television Award for her performance in the category Best Supporting Actress, movies/ministries.
